The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), in the College of Engineering at Tennessee Tech University (TTU), Cookeville, TN, invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer position to begin August 1, 2021. Three-year contract renewable based on satisfactory performance. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering and assist with Capstone Design projects.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelorís degree and a graduate degree (Masterís or Ph.D.) in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field by the start date of employment. Potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate level. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: An earned doctorate or completion of all coursework for a doctorate in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field by the start date of employment; teaching experience or significant industrial experience; demonstrated potential for teaching a variety of courses in electrical engineering; excellent communication and writing skills; all areas of expertise in electrical engineering will be considered, with a preference given to candidates with teaching experience or expertise in topics including, but not limited to, signal processing and control systems.
