AIDS Free Pittsburgh (AFP) is a public health initiative that aims to reduce new cases of HIV and support people living with HIV in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. AFP is looking to hire a Community Outreach & Engagement Coordinator who will help AIDS Free Pittsburgh 1) develop on-going community engagement opportunities and 2) coordinate activities to increase access to HIV testing, prevention, and treatment services in southwestern PA.

Experience working with communities most impacted by HIV in Allegheny County (e.g., people living with HIV, gay and bisexual men, transgender women, people of color, young adults, etc.).
Experience with sexual health education, community outreach, and HIV prevention counseling.
Experience collecting and analyzing data (e.g., from hotlines, surveys, social media, and events).
Must be comfortable with public speaking and developing presentations for large groups.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills (oral & written) to effectively communicate with project staff and community members.
Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
Must have excellent computer skills (e.g., experience with Microsoft Office Products).
Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
